I have just been asked by the Wigwam to send out the notice below. They have upgraded the locks on all of their rooms as well as controlled entry points like the pool and fitness center doors with new technology and our membership cards will no longer work.
You will need to stop by the front desk of the hotel to pick up a temporary card. Two things to be aware of: 1) We all typically have to go to the front desk around January 1st each year to have our cards reprogrammed. If you pick up your new temporary card now, you will not have to return in January for reprogramming... 2) The Wigwam does not yet know how they will obtain photos to be used on the new cards.

We hope this message finds you well. We are excited to announce that we have recently implemented cutting-edge RFID door lock technology across our rooms and amenities, including the pools and fitness center. These state-of-the-art locks utilize a tap-to-access method, replacing the traditional card-insertion system.
In line with this upgrade, we are in the process of issuing new member cards that will feature your provided photo and necessary access information. However, we are currently awaiting the arrival of these new cards.
In the interim, the Front Desk now has temporary cards available for our members to use if they wish to access these facilities. We anticipate the temporary cards will be in use until late spring when we estimate the arrival of the new personalized cards.
We will be sending a follow-up email containing all the essential details and photo requirements necessary for the creation of your new cards. Please keep an eye out for this email in the coming weeks.
