October Minutes & REPORT - WCC BOard Meeting

Welcome to a new season! Yesterday your FY 2025 WCC Board of Directors held our first meeting of the new year. You may CLICK HERE to access the minutes and reports from that meeting. Highlights include:

• A new Use Agreement (contract) between the club and ownership (JDM) is being finalized and should be signed soon. This will also involve each member being asked to sign an individual agreement but instructions will follow at a later date. 
• Golf memberships continue to be capped at 430 with a $15,000 initiation fee and a waitlist of nearly 150. 
• Total membership is at an all time high of 705!
• A major concern of our members continues to be the high prices and "cashless" policy in Red's. 
• Disrepair of the tennis facilities continues to be a source of frustration and there seems to be no relief in sight. 
• Planning has begun for this year's Patriot All America tournament to be held between Christmas and New Years. 
• The club is in a very solid financial position with year end cash on hand projected to be $120K. Some committee budgets will probably see increases in the months to come.
• WWGA begins the year with 101 members.
• At the end of this year, the club will be faced with five of our eight voting director positions becoming vacant due to expiring terms.

Those of you who actually read the reports included in these packages will notice that this one is much "thicker" than usual. That is because it contains reports from the five summer months when no meetings were held.
